Our mission is to make a difference in the lives of others with all abilities by creating a mini working farm and adventure forest that promote inclusive outdoor experiences in an accepting and supportive environment.
We work hard to create an atmosphere where our guests feel safe, included and comfortable being their true selves. From Play Days and Farmventure School, to special themed events and private parties, there's a farmventure just right for everyone!

Hello! I'm Shannon Wells,
Founder of Our Sensory Farm.
See a need, fill a need. That is really what inspired the creation of Our Sensory Farm.
As a former classroom special education teacher, I found myself frustrated when planning field trips and events. Accessibility issues, lack of appropriate accommodations, and the concern that my students may not feel included were challenges.
As a special needs mom, I face similar situations when out in public with my family. There have been moments of judgement, embarrassment and that awful feeling of exclusion.
Right now, families are facing unprecedented times. It is important for communities to adapt to, and accommodate the ever changing needs of its people. Everyone is welcome at Our Sensory Farm, a safe space to grow.
