Hello, farm friend! I'm Shannon and this is my adventurous family. We founded Our Sensory Farm with one mission:
Our mission is to make a difference in the lives of children with all abilities by creating a mini working farm and adventure forest that promotes inclusive outdoor experiences.
As a mom and former teacher, I know how hard it can be for special needs families to relax and feel accepted while enjoying themselves in a public setting. I wanted to build a fun and supportive environment for my family and yours.

"I am thrilled to hear that Glowvember is making a comeback this year!
Something about “Our Sensory Farm” is just so magical.
My children, ages 8, 3, and 2 all enjoyed Glowvember last year, and we have since included “magic flames” in many a fire pit since then. My kids did not want to leave last year, even though we got there on a chilly night. It didn’t matter! They had an absolute blast!
My kids are all very different, and my son can get overstimulated easily…but each of them found something they loved at the farm! Shannon has a way of ensuring that everyone feels safe, comfortable, and loved while they are there!
My daughters loved the swings and the animals, and my son loved the fire and the tents, and spent an hour coloring in the dark living his best life!
Shannon creates these experiences with such thoughtfulness and creativity, and then she has a way of making it even more magical and individualized for every single visitor.
If I had to pick between picking a pumpkin or Glowvember…100% we are choosing Glowvember!
It’s magical, and can very easily become a fall family tradition to create memories to last a lifetime! Go!"
