FARMVENTURE SCHOOL
AT OUR SENSORY FARM
We are proud to present the very first year of Farmvenure School at Our Sensory Farm on select Mondays and Thursdays starting in March, 2022.
Provided in a modern day field trip format, this 90 minute program is designed for the following:

Homeschool families & co-ops

Private and public schools
-
Social skills and therapy groups
-
Daycare centers
All of our activities are differentiated based on age, ability level, and areas of need. Lesson details including suggested target age and a description of the activity are provided for each session. All of our lessons and activities focus on mental health, self esteem and social-emotional well-being.
Farmventure School kids will spend time in our unique outdoor setting and have the opportunity to practice connecting to themselves, their environment and their neighbors. Our aim is to create a supportive, accepting space in which everyone feels comfortable being their true selves. We are proud to share that our Farmventure School program is made possible, and inspired by a generous donation from the Joe Benson Foundation and the support of his incredible family.

Hello, farm friend! I'm Shannon and this is my adventurous family! We founded Our Sensory Farm with one goal:
Our mission is to make a difference in the lives of others with all abilities by creating a mini working farm and adventure forest that promote inclusive outdoor experiences in an accepting and supportive environment.
As a special needs mom and former teacher, I know how hard it can be for some families to relax and feel accepted while enjoying themselves in a public setting. Our Sensory Farm offers a fun, comfortable and supportive environment in which our guests are encouraged to be their true selves. We are more than happy to accommodate the special needs of all our guests to create a farmventure experience you won’t forget!

FARMVENTURE SCHOOL INFORMATION
What to Expect:
Guides will be on hand to provide lessons and activities, interactive tours, facilitate meet and greets with the animals, and engage in creative, age/ability appropriate activities with our guests! Our goal is to offer a variety of experiences to ensure everyone makes a fun connection and a fond memory.
How To Purchase Tickets:
Visiting Our Sensory Farm for Farmventure School is easy! Simply view available dates below and choose the one that works with your schedule. Tickets are purchased online! It’s that easy!
Tickets can even be purchased online the same day if you decide to join us at the last minute! A limited number of tickets will be available for each Farmventure School Day so that we can maintain smaller group sizes. This helps to create a more comfortable, relaxed atmosphere where our guests have easy access to the animals, areas, and activities.
