Thank you for choosing to spend time at Our Sensory Farm, an agritourism site in Chesapeake Virginia. Before your visit, there are a few things you should know. Please read the following information carefully, then complete the form and sign below acknowledging your understanding and willingness to comply.
What to Know: In Virginia, agritourism is defined as any activity carried out on a farm or ranch that allows members of the general public, for recreational, entertainment, or educational purposes, to view or enjoy rural activities, including farming, wineries, ranching, historical, cultural, harvest-your-own activities, or natural activities and attractions. For most people, agricultural tourism refers to a visit to a working farm or any agricultural, horticultural, or agribusiness operation in order to enjoy, be educated, or become actively involved in the activities of the farm or operation – getting a true farm experience. Since Our Sensory Farm meets this definition, under Virginia law, there is no liability for an injury to or death of a participant in an agritourism activity conducted at this agritourism location if such injury or death results from the inherent risks of the agritourism activity. You are assuming the risk of participating in this agritourism activity. During your visit, please remain within the designated public spaces (your farm guide will share specifics with you upon arrival).
