
Farmer's Market Tutoring Session

Service Description
During this tutoring session, learners will open their own mini farmer's market at Our Sensory Farm! To help prepare for our produce stand, we will discuss the differences between fruits and vegetables, whole and processed foods, and share stories about our favorite foods to eat! Learners will collect and craft items to organize and sell to their shoppers during our grand opening sale! We will take turns working at the checkout, helping customers, and restocking the merchandise. Don't forget to pack your learner(s) a snack/lunch and refillable water bottle as we will take a short break to eat, followed by rest time with books and journaling before getting back to our themed activities. Available in Winter Semester Week 2: 12/05/23 11am to 1pm 12/07/23 11am to 1pm Winter Weather Guide - Please dress your learner in layers when visiting Our Sensory Farm during our Winter Semester. With safety and comfort in mind during the colder months, outdoor tutoring sessions at Our Sensory Farm will be canceled under the following weather conditions: 1. Temperatures below 45 degrees and/or 2. Precipitation and/or 3. Heavy winds You will be notified before 8 am the day of the session if there is a cancellation or change in plans. If a session is canceled due to weather, a credit will automatically be issued to your account.
