WORKSHOP: MUSIC & MOVEMENT!

It's time to create, move and groove during our Music & Movement Workshop at Our Sensory Farm on Saturday, May 27th from 2pm to 4pm. Guests will be invited to create their own music makers and dance ribbons using items from our Workshop Kits! Then we will engage in our Music Class, hosted by the wonderful Laura Hales! Laura is a local author and Autism Advocate who specializes in helping Autistic children be understood and celebrated! Together, we will follow the lead of your amazing kiddo(s) as they find their own beat and vibe to the interactive songs! 

During this workshop we will also take a tour of Our Sensory Farm with Farmer Shannon! We will meet the goats, check in with Piggy and hang out with the chickens! We can also take a nature walk, explore the sensory stations and play on the playground and swings! This is a sensory friendly event approparite for everyone ages 3 and up with all abilities! We hope you will join us to make some music, new friends and memories!

Inclement Weather Cancellation Policy: Our Sensory Farm closely monitors the weather leading up to all scheduled events. If there is a concern regarding inclement weather and the safety of our guests, we will notify all ticket holders by email and/or text regarding any changes to the date/time of the event.

What should we wear/bring?

-Closed toe shoes are mandatory when visiting Our Sensory Farm.

-Be sure to check the weather prior to your visit. We are an outdoor venue and advise you to dress in layers when it’s cold, and protect your skin from the sun when it's hot.

-Optional Items: refillable water bottle, hat, bug spray, sunscreen

-Weapons of any kind, real or fake, are not permitted at Our Sensory Farm.

-Please notify us ahead of your visit if you plan to bring a service animal.

What facilities are available at Our Sensory Farm?

You will have access to a covered picnic area, shaded seating, ADA accessible restroom, handwashing station and drinking water (please bring your own refillable bottle).

Is the farm accessible for wheelchairs, strollers, wagons, etc?

Yes! We are happy to meet the special needs of all our guests! Please do not hesitate to reach out to Shannon Wells at info@oursensoryfarm.com with any questions you may have regarding accommodations.

Can we bring food/snacks/drinks to Our Sensory Farm?

Yes, you are welcome to bring snacks and/or drinks to enjoy during your time at OSF. We ask that you avoid glass bottles/containers. You are also welcome to bring a picnic blanket and dine on the lawn or eat at one of our picnic tables.
