MUSIC & MOVEMENT SPECIAL EVENT!

Let’s jam! We are super excited to announce our first ever inclusive Music & Movement Collaborative Event at Our Sensory Farm on Saturday, April 29th from 10am to 12pm! During the first hour, guests will engage in our Music Class, hosted by the wonderful Laura Hales! Laura is a local author and autism advocate who specializes in helping autistic children be understood and celebrated! Together, we will follow the lead of your amazing kiddo(s) as they move, groove and vibe to the interactive songs with access to noise makers!

Next, our guests will take a tour of OSF with Farmer Shannon! We will meet the goats, check in with Piggy and hang out with the chickens! Afterwards, we can take a nature walk, explore the sensory stations and play on the playground and swings! Finally, we will read one of Laura’s books together on the lawn!

In addition to the music class and farmventure, all kiddos will receive a very special goodie bag full of sensory surprises to take home! Situated on three beautiful acres, Our Sensory Farm offers animal encounters, nature trails, playgrounds, swings, sensory stations, games, playhouse, and so much more! Our mission is to make a difference in the lives of others with all abilities by creating a safe, accepting space that encourages our guests to be their authentic selves while connecting with nature and their neighbors. ​ 

Inclement Weather Cancellation Policy: Our Sensory Farm closely monitors the weather leading up to all scheduled events. If there is a concern regarding inclement weather and the safety of our guests, we will notify all ticket holders by email and/or text regarding any changes to the date/time of the event.

What should we wear/bring?

-Closed toe shoes are mandatory when visiting Our Sensory Farm.

-Be sure to check the weather prior to your visit. We are an outdoor venue and advise you to dress in layers when it’s cold, and protect your skin from the sun when it's hot.

-Optional Items: refillable water bottle, hat, bug spray, sunscreen

-Weapons of any kind, real or fake, are not permitted at Our Sensory Farm.

-Please notify us ahead of your visit if you plan to bring a service animal.

What facilities are available at Our Sensory Farm?

You will have access to a covered picnic area, shaded seating, ADA accessible restroom, handwashing station and drinking water (please bring your own refillable bottle).

Is the farm accessible for wheelchairs, strollers, wagons, etc?

Can we bring food/snacks/drinks to Our Sensory Farm?

Yes, you are welcome to bring snacks and/or drinks to enjoy during your time at OSF. We ask that you avoid glass bottles/containers. You are also welcome to bring a picnic blanket and dine on the lawn or eat at one of our picnic tables.
