Farmventure School (Grades 4-8)

Provided in a modern day field trip format, this 90 minute program is designed for the following:

• Homeschool families & co-ops
• Private and public schools
• Social skills and therapy groups
• Daycare centers

Spring Semester (March-May) Class

A PORTRAIT OF ME: Connecting to yourself, your neighbors and your world! Join us for our first semester of Farmventure School at Our Sensory Farm! Participants will spend time in our unique outdoor setting and engage in a three-part interactive lesson focused on confidence, social skills and self expression. This experience includes independent time for self reflection, a guided group activity, and a found object art project. Farmventure School Guides are able and willing to adapt the lessons and activities to accommodate the needs of all our unique learners.

All of our activities are differentiated based on age, ability level, and areas of need. Lesson details including suggested target age and a description of the activity are provided for each session. We offer a variety of lesson topics each month for returning groups. All of our lessons and activities focus on mental health, self esteem and social-emotional well-being.

Farmventure School kids will spend time in our unique outdoor setting and have the opportunity to practice connecting to themselves, their environment and their neighbors. Our goal is to create a supportive, accepting space in which everyone feels comfortable being their true selves.

Grades K-3 will be hosted on select Mondays from 10:00 to 11:30 am.

Grades 4-8 will be hosted on select Thursdays from 10:00 to 11:30 am.
