1-Day Farmventure Camp (Ages 3-14)

1-DAY FARMVENTURE CAMP

3 Hour Experience 

Up to 10 campers per group

Farmventure Camp is an inclusive, outdoor half-day program located at Our Sensory Farm in southern Chesapeake. Campers of all abilities are encouraged to join us and explore our unique 3 acre mini working farm and adventure forest. With a variety of hands-on activities, interactive experiences, sensory stations, art projects and farm animals, there is something for everyone to enjoy! Our goal is to create a supportive and accepting space in which our guests feel safe being their true selves while connecting with nature, neighbors and themselves. 

Our 1-Day Farmventure Camp option is designed for individual learners, small homeschool groups and families. Our campers will:

• Receive a handmade OSF Journal and Mini Art Kit
• Construct a Farm Lantern (take-home project)
• Create a Kindness Quilt (group project)
• Design a friendship bracelet (take-home project)
• Discover the Adventure Forest swings and campsite
• Hike the extended nature path during our Sensory Scavenger Hunt
• Prepare special snacks for the goats, pig, chickens and tortoises
• Brush the goats during their spa time
• Learn about animal care and life on the farm
• Give the tortoises a bath
• Go on a rainbow egg hunt with the chickens
• Play putt putt, corn hole, or frisbee golf
• Examine unique sensory stations
• Join our Circle of Gratitude
• Have a snack or lunch with new friends (not provided)
